The photographs will be published under the OUR PLACE brand in an initial series of 10 books that will be released over the next five years. A team of international photographers will cover the sites from their physical and geographical aspects, as well as documenting the human presence and interaction that helps make them important to mankind. An interactive website will be launched next year when enough images are available. As well as a selection of site photographs www.ourplaceworldheritage.com will feature background information relevant to the sites' history and values. The Panasonic supported project will eventually have an international team of 20 photographers, who will be photographing a large number of the 830 World Heritage Sites in 138 countries around the globe.

Photo equipment bags

Photo equipment bags
The highlight of the Faro series of bags consists of a clever carrying system for the back that can be combined with various other Faro bags. Attention to detail characterizes the Faro bags. A covered zipper prevents dusts and splash water from penetrating the bag and the zipper tab on the inside pockets is covered with leather to protect equipment from scratches. All Faro bags and backpacks are padded with shock absorbing, closed-cell EVA foam material. A soft inner lining offers additional protection for sensitive surfaces. All hard cases and bags feature a shoulder strap with metal trigger snap. Hard Case Minis for Digis Specifically for compact digital cameras, Cullmann has developed hard cases in 5 sizes lined with nylon to protect displays. The small hard cases Faro Mini 108, 110, 115, 120, and 140 are equipped with a circumferential covered zipper and a belt loop with Velcro fastener.

Pentax releases Optio T20, K10D digital cameras

Pentax releases Optio T20, K10D digital cameras
The Optio T20 compact digital camera sports a slim body, the Pentax-developed Sliding Lens System and a 3-inch, high-definition LCD monitor. The overriding goal of the standard is to enhance the experience consumers have when operating these devices.

The standard will address areas such as battery pack electrical and mechanical construction, packaging technologies, and pack and cell charge and discharge controls.
